The Up Side

Yesterday I shared the downside of our Holiday vacation so far, but things are looking up. This morning I could talk. My voice is still raspy, but by the end of the day yesterday I couldn't even squeak out the words Merry Christmas so I will take whatever I can get and hope that I am back to my normal healthy self soon.

Also, we went to a vision center for Z yesterday and his new glasses will be ready today.

Lastly, what I really wanted for Christmas this year was snow. Last year I was pregnant and not feeling well so I couldn't really enjoy the rare white Christmas we had in Texas.

On Monday as we crossed over from Tennessee to Kentucky I got my wish and it started snowing. Yesterday we took the kids out and had an amazing time! I have lots of photos on my camera, but it's easier to swipe one from the iphone. So I will leave you with another snapshot J took. A much happier one this time.
