Sunday's Success

The Messy Mom Gets Healthy: Day One

Sundays can be tricky. My husband is a full time worship leader/ associate pastor, so it is a very busy day for us. It usually consist of social outings that include high calorie eating. I was tempted, but I was able to make healthy choices despite my urges and surprisingly Sunday turned out to be a success.

Breakfast: Orange Juice
Kashi Oatmeal with bananas

Lunch: Water
Turkey Sandwich

Snack: Green Tea
South Beach Granola clusters

Dinner: Water
Chicken Fajitas
Pinto Beans

Dessert: Whole Milk
2 Squares of dark chocolate

Exercise: Football Frisbee with 10 very high energy college students. Whew.
I am feeling slightly sore today so that is a good sign.
